Transportation to Airport from Frankfurt City Center

Transportation to Gran Canaria City Center from Airport

Those who want to prefer a comfortable and fast transportation alternative can benefit from the airport shuttle service offered by the majority of the hotel located in the city.

Taxi

If you consider travelling to the city center or your hotel by taxi, make sure to get on a taxi from the taxi stands at the airport and demand an invoice before getting off. Travelling to the city center from the airport costs about 26 Euro. If you will accommodate in Maspalomas, a popular tourist destination, you can reach this region by paying approximately 38 Euro.

Car Rental

There are seven different car rental companies offering service at Gran Canaria Airport. Avis and Budget are among these companies. The daily cost of renting a car varies according to size of the vehicle but you can rent a standard vehicle for 4 passengers by paying 20-25 Euro. In this way, you can reach the city center and also discover the beautiful points of the island comfortably. You should drive in the north direction for about 26 kilometers on the highway GC-1 extending along the coast in order to travel from Gran Canaria Airport to the city center. If you will travel to Maspalomas, you should drive in the south direction for about 31 kilometers on the highway GC-1.

Bus

There are three bus routes departing from the airport. The bus route 60 connects the airport to the city center. The travel lasts about thirty minutes under normal traffic conditions. You can get to Maspalomas, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations of the region, in about 45 minutes. The bus route 5 operates between Las Palmas city center and Maspalomas and passes through the airport. Ticket price is 2,30 Euro. The buses depart every 20 minutes and operate from 05:25 am to 11:20 pm during the week.

Many hotels in Las Palmas, which is a holiday paradise, offer airport shuttle service for their guests. If you demand airport shuttle service from your hotel, your driver will be waiting for you at the landing hour of your flight on the baggage claim area.
