About Jizan
Jizan or Jazan is the capital of the Jazan Region, which is one of the smallest regions of Saudi Arabia, it is located on the coast of the Red Sea. The city is quite famous for more than 100 islands and several diving spots. It is only 40 meters above sea level and the population is around 100,000. Jizan has a hot desert climate with average annual temperatures of around 30 °C. The hot weather continues through the year, even in winters the temperature drops to 20 °C. Due to the climate, Jizan has high humidity levels, especially in summer and sandstorms can be seen in the inner parts of the city, farther from the coast. Jizan Port and Jizan Regional Airport are well-known to those who travel to the city and there are flights and bus rides from almost every city in Saudi Arabia.
