Transportation to Airport from Frankfurt City Center

Frankfurt Airport

Frankfurt Airport is located 12 km southwest of the city center. The airport offers guests a rich variety of services and amenities and transportation alternatives to get to and from the city center. Frankfurt Airport is accessible by train, bus, taxi and rental car.

Train

Frankfurt has an excellent public transportation system, making it quick and easy to get around the city. Taxi

Another convenient transportation alternative to get to the airport from the city center is by taxi. Taxis are easily accessible in every part of the city but taxi fares are more expensive than other transportation options. Only certain taxi companies are licensed to go to the airport. You can always ask the hotel you are staying at to help arrange a taxi for you. The trip from the city to the airport by taxi takes about 30 minutes.

Frankfurt Airport is a major international airport located about 12 km from the city center. It is the busiest airport in Germany and one of the busiest airports in Europe. Popular brands at the airport include Dior, Ferrero, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Davidoff, Fisher Price, Chanel, Emporio Armani, Tag Heuer, Tommy Hilfiger, Hasbro, and Lego. Frankfurt Airport also features services that are a bit more unique like yoga rooms, silent chairs, an arcade where passengers can play games for free, smoking lounges, workbenches, and lounge-like relaxation zones. 

Transportation to Luanda City Center from Airport

Quatro de Fevereiro Airport

You can easily get to Luanda city center from Quatro de Fevereiro Airport by taxi or bus. You can rent a car at the airport if you need a vehicle for your entire stay.

Car Rental

Eight separate car rental companies, including Sixt, Budget and Europcar, serve at the airport. Renting a car in Luanda costs a bit. Prices start at 330 Turkish liras per day. It takes less than half an hour to get from Otomobille airport to the city center. You can reach the city center by driving about 10 kilometers after connecting to Deolinda Rodrigues Road, following the city center signs.

Taxi

At the exit of the terminal building you can see the airport taxis serving with a fleet of 150 vehicles. It is possible to reach the city center by taxi within 20 - 25 minutes in normal traffic conditions. If you do not have local currency Kwanza, you can pay in US dollars.

Bus

Departing from the airport bus stop and run by both the state and private companies, many bus lines carry passengers to different points of the city, including the city center. You can find out which bus line is suitable for you from the information desk.
